About the pattern

Be the star of a special occasion with a light and fluffy capelet made of mohair and silk.

The bands of eyelets in each repeat of this pattern create diamond-shaped motifs that are repeated all around, making a flower or star shape in the fabric.

The capelet is made up of a variable number of identical wedges that you can repeat more or fewer times for more or less coverage.

Use lace weight mohair yarn for an airy capelet for weddings or other summer special events, or a thicker yarn for a cozy accessory for the cold seasons.

You will get a PDF file with full instructions and charts on a large (A3) page, plus a PDF with an easy read or mobile friendly layout with full instructions.

Skill level

Advanced, due to working with various stitches (simple, full, eyelets, decreases) and uniquely distributed increases on the different rows.
